Japan Animator Expo! 2014

What does Hideaki Anno the creator of EVANGELION does with all the money he earned from the EVA movies? have you ever asked yourself that?

Well he actually did told people what he did with all that money:

"To create an animator EXPO to showcase a variety of short animations where the creator have total control over it."

But why some other multi million company haven't done this before? the answer: it's nor profitable, all the companies around the world will only fund events or projects with the objective to made more money short/long term, Hideaki took this huge project upon him by knowing he will not make even 1 YEN out of it, he wants to break the stalemate of moe animation in Japan and invest in all the animators to showcase their unique animation project.

The project was un 2014! at the time is 6 years old but I still remember to watch them from time to time. Will Anno ever repeat this again? Hard to tell, he has moved on to new projects.
