Got it 5 days after the release on my switch, and started playing non stop for over a month, the hidden harvest mechanics were quite intriguing 2 people planting, watering and harvesting the same rice wont get the same results...
It was crazy how everyone online was asking "Why does my rice lacks _____?" or "How do you use fertilizer?" and the only answer you got: "read the rice cultivation guide", the devs went the extra mile to make it as realist and fast paced as possible keeping players hooked on the rice BUT also giving some nice 2D action combat to avoid boring the player.

The devs though the game will barely scrap 30K sales because they have almost no money to promote the game, instead the whole gaming community would recommend it to one another, finally they reaped the fruits of their labor 1mill units sold.
It was fun and if you wanted an action challenge you could always challenge the 200 floor cave, I have just good things to say about Sakuna, even the memes were super fun for an indie game.
